TREE MURAL at Tana Hayk High School in Bahir Dar, Ethiopia

This mural was created in June 2019 with the help of teacher volunteers from Addis Ababa and the USA for Tana Hayk High School in Bahir Dar Ethiopia.  We used donated paints from Golden Paint, Nova Color/Artx Manufacturing Company, and Gamblin Colors.  The tree is an echo of an actual tree on the grounds of the school nearby and the colors and patterns represent the diverse multi-layered culture of Ethiopia. The mural took some planning ahead, and approximately two weeks to complete with the help of our volunteers.  Special thanks to Henock Azene for arranging with Tana Hayk.
